Teachers stepping in Schmoop

Posted in Teaching Tools, Web 2.0 by Mark Barnes on January 26, 2010

Until I learn more about it, the coolest thing about Schmoop so far is the nifty name, which rhymes with poop.

Maybe it’s the kid in me, but I can’t help but laugh when I say “Schmoop.”

One of the newest web-based learning tools, Schmoop helps teachers and students discover literature in new and interesting ways.

As the woman on the video says, Schmoop is sort of like “Cliffs Notes on steroids with a great sense of humor.”

Sounds like Schmoop is worth a look.

Vodpod videos no longer available.
